My favorite thing in Atlanta on spring weekends is Piedmont Park.
You can't beat it. You pack blankets, coolers, Frisbees, kick balls,
dogs, (Mary Brooks has even brought Diana, the cat) and friends.
You can walk through the highlands and window shop, eat an
amazing brunch (with countless places to choice from) and then take
it into the night with bar hopping.
In Montgomery, you don't really have those options,
so you go to farms- and I have to admit although very
different, it is also tons of fun!
This Saturday it was off to Hobby Road with the Willifords and
of course the camera came along too.
If you look close you can see the fins sticking out of Heidi's mouth.
Tracy, TJ and Avery!
Evan and Cameron
And of course we had to have a little excitement. Heidi found a deer in the woods
which chased in circles for quite a while. TJ, Avery and Evan were
riding around the pound and got quite the view. The rest of us were pretty
far away on the Pier, but luckily I had the zoom lense on.
The deer kept going into the water so that Heidi would lose her scent.
